and style of the rug and international freight schedules

Standard Delivery Ts & Cs

The following terms apply when Designer Rugs are arranging delivery of your rug/s. 

• Rugs can be collected from DR in Auckland at an arranged time.by either the customer or a delivery service
  
  
• Designer Rugs can arrange delivery to the customer’s location within New Zealand or Overseas;  full delivery information – location, phone, contact person and any special notes – to be confirmed at the time of ordering to ensure a smooth delivery service.

• Standard Auckland Area delivery service includes: 
  - delivery to site providing access is clear and good to required floor level.
  - Placement and installation.
  - Removal of all rubbish from site. 
  
  
• In some instances, drivers may need assistance – especially if a rug is over 25kg.
  
  
• Deliveries are carried out by a third party delivery service or recognised freight companies – depending on your location. 
  
  
• Deliveries occur on business days between the hours of 9am - 5pm [we do not offer deliveries on weekends or public holidays].  Deliveries outside of these hours are “by arrangement” with DR.
  
  
• Client contact details are provided to the selected delivery service with instructions for them to liaise with the customer to confirm the time.
  
  
• The selected delivery service will require the customer to sign for their rug/s.   The goods will not be delivered if there is no one available to sign and take delivery, they will be returned to the appropriate depot.
  
  
• A delivery is deemed completed in good condition once a signature has been placed on the delivery documentation.   . If the packaging is torn / damaged / wet, etc, please do not sign the delivery docket and contact DR immediately.
  
  
• DR undertakes to despatch your rug/s in a timely manner which may vary depending on your location and accessibility.
  
  
• DR standard dispatch time frame for out-of-stock products will vary depending on the selected rug.
  
  
• Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.
  
  
• Our business hours are Monday to Friday – 9am to 4pm and Saturday – 10am to 4pm,  excluding public holidays.
  
  
• Alternatively, rugs can be collected from the DR showroom in Auckland at an arranged time.by either yourself or a delivery service.
